Datacenter loosing battle with main competitors like Arista HP and Dell

The product management team is so weak. Many seem to believe feature creep means innovation. Most product managers just focus on creating SKUs, promotions, bundles. Not a clue about general industry trends, or about what competition is doing.

Not surprising if true. They've done nothing but constantly re-org the management chain since 2015.
I guess the effect of that was they never found time to drive any real innovation or compete. Everyone too busy getting cut or going along to get along to keep their jobs.
The last DCBU innovation I remember was ACI, and that’s old now. They tried with the deep buffer switch but Arista beat them so bad in that area they ki▯▯▯d the product line and laid off everyone who worked on it.
Yes it’s old ok products in this cloud Era and the switch speed is increasing and no real innovation on nexus 9000 switches when compared to other vendors
