What is the success rate of getting hired internally at the same position as your salary?

Can you apply jobs internally ? ... do they seriously consider you after layoff or is it just a formality for applying jobs internally ? I applied for like 30 jobs ... they are being reviewed by managers.

multiple locations. i don't understand the locational specific questions. Layoffs are often strategic redundancy elimination exercises across functions or teams (and hence locations)

I just got laid off in this wave of layoffs. Thanks for the heads up about the fine print.

Read the Corporate Severance program. They can offer you a position with lower pay but you can decline and take the severance. If SVP's are offered a position that with up to a 10% salary reduction, they have to take it and do not get the severance option. If it is more than a 10% reduction, they can opt fir a severance.

I know a few who got l▯▯d off on 04/16/2021.

Be careful about looking for a new role. In layoffs previously If offered a new role at lower salary you may have to accept it or lose your severance. Read the fine print.

Since it's only the 16th of April and the text is in the present tense, I don't buy this. There's a lot of disinformation here.
