Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Vaccine form, more

Read the second page of the HIPPA release:
This authorization is voluntary and you may refuse to sign it. Note: however, failure to comply with the health and safety protocols set forth in the Bank of America Global Human Resources Return to Work Location Practices and Benefits may affect your ability to return to work, or remain at work, at your assigned location.

  • now if you call HR and let them know of your own high risk factor(s) or live with someone who is high risk, your name is supposed to be put on a list to continue to receive accommodation.

These vaccines are not 100% effective. There will have to be accommodations for continued WFH in many cases due to employees who state they have risk factors. Eventually those people will probably have to show documentation of their medical issues. People without risk factors who don't agree to complete the vaccine form, they will be gunning for.

If you like that, you'll love these blurbs from the shot waivers

The vaccine is not meant to protect you from contracting the virus (SARS-COV-2). Though some manufacturers of the vaccine have shown a 50+% reduction in the ability to contract the virus after taking it, the vaccines were designed to prevent you from dying from the symptoms (Covid-19) associated with the virus. Note the terminology. The virus is Sars-Cov-2, a specific type or strain of coronavirus. The symptoms are referred to as Covid-19. When they talk about a Covid-19 vaccine, it's specific to symptoms, not virus. In other words, just because you got a vaccine, doesn't meant that you won't get the virus and pass it on to others.

It's like the boomers have gone crazy. Requiring an experiential vaccine, sorry, "Emergency Use Authorization" vaccine that doesn't have any long term data. Just so we can go into the office and they can stare at us. Because they never modernized their management skills.
