I left my old company thinking there was no chance I'll ever work at a place with such a bad culture again. It never occured to me it could be worse. AT&T has proven me wrong. It can get so much worse. I found myself having to say and do things I'd have never even considered saying or doing before. Because if I didn't, I'd be destroyed in meetings or I would be disrespected by everybody around me. I hate that I put myself in this position, but I don't have much choice right now. Sadly, integrity is not a valued quality here.

Working for ANY corporation you have to sell a bit of your soul when it comes to integrity etc.. You have to realize leaderships goals don't align well with ethical treatment or customers or employees, its all about stackn the paper and the numbers.. What grinds my grill is all the bull..it talk (mind control) about diversity and employee caring and recognition and support, blah blah.. its like religion do as I say not as i do..
Guessing you worrying about ‘getting destroyed’ in meetings’ and how others view you is way more important than your integrity or character. Maybe that’s the problem not what’s being stated..,lack of courage like the Lion in Oz. Peace, Man.
If you just joined and realize it was a mistake, go on to the next one. Your resume is probably still pulling job opportunities in today, check them out.

It is acceptable to lie for the company. But never lie to the company .Yes. It is that bad.
This company is as fake as those true tests they force us to upload. haaaa. Everyone does it, fake as f▯▯k!

No my man this isn’t about millennials or misalignment of “values”. AT&T is fu—d up it is full of corporate sociopaths. I’ve never worked in a place where small, ignorant personalities thrive so much. I was 10 years Army and experienced things that any private HR would lose their minds. However, difference is power isn’t based off some bi–h who’s great uncle was VP of whatever. And the ability to speak up wasn’t met with retaliation from a weak minded person with self perceived influence or power.
You are not being held in your job, whatever you do, against your will. If it’s truly a matter of loss of integrity or principles, then perhaps you should seek employment elsewhere. One of the main reasons that millennials leave jobs is when the employer’s key principles are not aligned with theirs. They are far more willing to take chances and move on when companies don’t represent themselves according to their value system. Life is about choices. Move on if this isn’t the place for you. Seriously...
It's all about keeping the status green on a slide. That's the only thing management knows how to interpret.
