It wouldn’t surprise me if by the end of 2022 there are less than 1000 USB branches as someone has already mentioned, considering that in 2019 it had just over 3000. What do you think?

If branches are for low income customers...why is it that the banking industry has lobbied against the establishment of banking services provided by the Postal Service? There must be some profit in retail banking or banks would have long since closed most brick and mortar sites. In Europe many branches have closed in smaller towns and people rely on weekly buses to do their banking.
Retail banking is dead. And US Bank with it.
Branches are for lower income people with specific needs, mostly to go beg for credit. The digital world is now how you should bank.
US Bank will not be part of that future, btw. If anyone could just see the hilariously outdated tech they use to power their website and their kindergarten mobile app, you would understand.
400 are slated to close over the summer. Some people will be offered the chance to move to consolidated locations and others will be laid off.
My branch been closed for a while. Working from home.
We just got moved to other branches because of a temporary closure, let's see!
