A former coworker who quit about two years ago told me when I was still new that you have to sell your soul to the de––l to succeed at Honeywell. Working hard, going the extra mile, stuff like that will get you nowhere. But making sure to kiss the right behinds, stab people in the back when needed, take credit for other people's work, now that will take you places. I thought he was exaggerating at the time, but now I know better. My one regret is that I didn't take him more seriously at the time and left while I still had options.

I always tell myself I'm going to get off this site because I was riffed last year and have never been happier, but I always come back hoping that HW can change for the people left or the ones with limited options. I was a director and got to witness the what goes on at the VP level first hand, on an global NDA, so I know what the end game really is. The sad truth, this is not going to get better, poor leadership, site reductions and focus on software all mean one thing.....cost cutting and that is the real future shaper. The future has nothing to do with people or taking care of people.....current leadership will continue to pat themselves on the back and fill their pockets accordingly. This is exactly what Darius wants.....he is being rewarded for cutting heads because that is the corporate strategy.

This summarizes HW aero perfectly. This is exactly how the current leadership got to where they are, with the exception of a few. Kiss Maddogs b––t and you get promoted, so many examples....Tarazi, Ariola, Hillpot, Klossen, too many to list.
Many valueless mediocrities in management here who simply sit in offices doing nothing or wreaking havoc.
