People who think their position at BNYM is safe are delusional. I know a few who think their years here will keep them from ending up on the layoffs list DESPITE it being proven over and over again that it’s exactly people like them (older employees with higher pay) who are being targeted. Talk about willful ignorance that might come to bite them in the a–s. People need to learn that unless they are a part of the C–suite, they are not safe.

I realized that a few years ago when they laid off my boss and my bosses boss. Both were very good and did a lot of HR admin stuff on top of working along with the rest of us.
My past reviews always had a few EEs in the individual categories and I was let go recently. Never had a single BE in any category.
On a side note, I'm not sure how I could get MEs overall on my reviews when I always had a couple EEs in the individual categories. What are there, 5 categories?
And I'm raking in the dough now...
