Pressured to fill survey?

Anyone else get a phone call from their manager about that survey? Are they offering a bonus to managers with high participation?
I wanted to say “walk down the hall rather than call”... oh wait he is at home and I am at work.

So the survey responses are all in and we were told this morning that the people managers will be receiving email with the results and will be tasked to develop an action plan. And I also notice the recent shuffling around of some of the VP type people. Oh, and the inspiration videos are picking up. I like the one where you can click the link to get help with your work-life balance because Hon knows how important that is. Clockwork. Now the manager will be tasked with making things better for the workers with now help and especially no $$. Basically will end up being a task on the overcrowded daily to do list that "the box must get checked". The person speaking to us said that it may seem like just more to do (talking to people managers), but that some good would come if you just spend a little time thinking about the comments and focus on the low hanging fruit. Translation, pull a rabbit out of the hat and hit a home run and let me know what you did.
Everything will be better as long as you: A. Don't spend any money, B. don't hire any one C. Met or exceed revenue commitments.

Yes, I received a call stating that managers were asked to encourage their reports to fill out the survey as a way to communicate management performance.

I respectfully declined citing the lack of anonymity and how I couldn’t provide any honest feedback for fear of being put on the IRIF short list.

Honeywell deserves the same feedback that you received in your performance review. For most people that would be a middle of the bell curve 5. Honeywell should be getting mid grades in every category unless exceptional success or failure has been personally witnessed.

I wouldn't doubt that managers are graded on number of responses. So if you want to help your manager, fill it out. If not, don't.

Sounds like time again, to finger and drop a dime on the problem children, functions and those managing the under preforming businesses. Questions designed to identify and document areas for improvement.

I won’t do that as I don’t feel confident about any right implementation steps. I would have done that if the process was transparent (instead of only stating that it would be anonymous). Anyone listening?

Yes I filled it out so it shows as complete. It won't make any difference so I don't care.
