Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Am I the only one happy working for sams?

Minor gripes here and there, but overall happy with my job, club, managers, my roll as merch lead. Why you guys so angry?

I am the OP, been with the company for 8 years now. Staffing is an issue, but we get things done. I help other areas, and my team does too. Everything you guys complain about is minor. This job isnt that hard lol

You are not the only one. Granted, when you have tens of thousands employed, there are realistically going to be at least a few hundred folks who are bitter about one thing or another.
In this case, a small subset of those bitter folks at Sam's know about this site and post here.
Don't let them drag you down. Keep on keepin' on.

  1. this person has been at sams 2 years or less. 2. the staffing is 100 % the companies fault. Been here more than 15 years , never been enough staffing. 3. this person will someday have their Sams goggles pulled away and will proclaim they have never been happy here. 4. staffing would not be an issue if management would just let things be what they are instead of screeching that we are actually over staffed and each person needs to do more.

I loved my job before covid, but ever since covid the club has been so understaffed it isn't funny. I still don't hate my job but I'm not happy like I used to be. With that being said I 100% believe the staffing problem is not the companies fault.

Just because your experience is ok and your store has decent managers, some places are really bad. Usually the larger stores, in bigger cities.
