Of course I think that everyone should always look for better options for themselves and that there is a wide range of opportunities outside of Dell, however, here on these threads I always read only positive stories about how some people did great after leaving this company.
One would get the impression that it is better everywhere than here at Dell and that everyone should leave this company. However, it is true that there are also those who have made a big mistake and who would like to return to Dell. I personally know of several such cases.

Because people who feel that way don't come to a site dedicated to layoffs to express those feelings. Check out Glassdoor for a more balanced perspective.
I was with Dell for 22 years and got laid off due to age and cost I'm sure. They have since hired 2 people in my old dept but placed them in TW doing the work I used to do. I cannot think of one person I have known who quit Dell and then regretted it. Not one.
