Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

Layoffs as a solution to all problems?

Someone's made a good observation: whenever a company finds itself in complex financial situations, the first solution that comes to minds of those at the top are the layoffs.
It's almost as if they can't think of anything else. This way anyone could run any company, one doesn’t need to be a great expert at all for such an "ingenious idea" as layoffs.

Why are so many of my coworkers cowards or chicken to comment on this board? I see at least 392 of ya! Stop hiding and let your voices be heard. We all know that it’s a clown show with a fifth floor bozo hogging the spotlight. What say you!!!

What a bunch of clowns. Was at an industry golf scramble recently and talked with some former SWN managers. What a clown car you have there in Spring. We all know who is the bozo. He should become a retired failed energy exec.

So, our leaders are really putting their minds together to solve this pickle. I took a short cut to another floor the other day, and these two blokes were having a fl–––––––e contest in the stairwell. Jiminy Christmas. I’ve never worked for such baffoons. These are the folks responsible for your careers!

I worked for the largest bottle and can recycling company in California. During the 2009 financial crisis with state funding cuts our most respected leader was placed back in charge and the new regime of cronyism was removed. Surly this man who had worked all over the world in international business could come up with a strategic plan so we could survive these short lived dark times.

He laid everyone off.....

S head.
