Do you find certain functions to be less collaborative versus others? I find many functions are genuine team players, collaborative and easy to partner with. Then there is a starkly different function that makes collaboration exhausting. I feel bullied into viewing things their way, and drained after every meeting when they talk down to me. They require so much more effort than any other team I’ve worked with .. anyone else experience these types of teams?

@wpp - completely agree. She is incompetent beyond measure! Her peer JL is not the brightest. Her direct reports are awful. I could blather on for paragraphs but no one has that much time. Point is - you aren’t alone with your point and there are many others on this board and thread who would agree.
Don’t need to look far, there’s so much chaos within some functions themselves. So much for “one team”, some teammates have huge egos and think others are there to serve them. Even if you speak up you’re told to learn to manage difficult people, well done.
Yes, HR, the team who puts fishing posts like the OP on this page.
@OP who is doing the heavy lifting? You or them?
Yup...that would be Nike Tech.
OP, absolutely, 100%, YES. I have been at Nike for many years and have worked with many different functions. There is one that stands out as the most difficult, irrational, uncollaborative, and absolute bullies that suck the joy out any conversation, task, meeting, etc. That function is GSM (all of GSM) where things are not made easy given the stupid people "leading" things in technology. No need for names; it is obvious if you are at all familiar with the structure in that org. WOW.....makes me want to vomit thinking about them.
