Now that the Q1 results are known, how large do you think will be the volume of layoffs that follow? It seems to me that it will be the most critical for the people in Aerospace

10% RIF across the board.
They did some interesting math to meet the numbers for Q1, but can’t make miracles each quarter, look further in the year for something
$1.92 EPS. I love this stock. I love this company. Keep doing what your are doing.
Q2 outlook not very promising, so RIF is coming before all need to come back onsite.
Not sure what you guys are smoking. Beat estimates by 4.6% is what I see.

Every year 10% are targeted to be RIFed or PIP targets, these targets are typically older worker or completely incompetent younger workers or individuals their boss views as a problem/high maintenance or a threats to their keeping their management position or advancing. These RIF or PIP individuals positions typically are replaced with younger less expensive employees or contractors.
If financial numbers are not being met in the business an additional percentage or number will be targeted to be layed off or not replaced from the PIP terminations. It is survival of the fittest! This in turn creates the on going culture of backstabbing, lying and pity work place shenanigans we all experience daily.
Yes, Aero was conspicuously NOT mentioned in the quarterly update, so it's very likely for Aero before the inevitable sale or outsourcing. R&O and Production are already slowing in Olathe and that is why Ahab is only plugging the holes in the di–e with contractors. They are playing rearrange the chairs on the Titanic. Also, CDC is also saying no foreign travel due to the Plandemic.
