Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

The new R&D: Everyone has heard of Carbon Capture - but what about Sunshine Reduction?

Maybe these tricks will reduce layoffs over time.
Or at least maintain the dividends.

Carbon Capture science and futility is well-summarized in the attached article.
But that really new thing - Sun Dimming - is new to me. What a thought.
Though, as always, I think the Simpsons did an episode on it years ago.
(Me - I'm voting to keep DW as CEO, but I want Montgomery Burns as Chairman.)

We've been releasing sulfur into the atmosphere for a long time.
I didn't realize it provided a benefit.
Oh – 60,000 feet.
Never mind.
