Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Hello, I’m looking to apply for an engineering role

Can someone please tell which recruiters work with nov Tulsa? Robert Half? Thank you
My goal is to stay in Tulsa area. Covid ruined my other job.

There are recruiters within NOV but in my experience they don't work in a region as much as by specialty and it is up to the business units or hiring managers if they want to use them. I didn't see Mr. Half in the address book. Your best bet is to go to the NOV jobs site and apply as that is where they post everything. For my unit it all goes through the HUB anyway so you will have to apply to be considered.

I’m not sure external recruiters are used. I’m just not sure. However, people not helping you out shows what type of culture this place has. Maybe saved you some misery!

I understand that, but those jobs opportunities are lacking especially with wanting to be in Tulsa.

Any tips on a external recruiter to approach?

Don't waste your time with this dinosaur. Oil is a dying technology. Seek a real career, save the planet and remember god bless the usa.
