Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Good morning to all my campus peeps

Another Monday and new week at this glorious company. About a month away from another PIP round. I already know I'm safe this round, plus I'm able to retire if I want. But considering the way Exxon has decided to treat its employees I've decided to stick around, get a paycheck, and fu-k the company every chance I get. That's right, I'm doing as little as possible, don't give a sh-t, and see how much I get away with. Fun times.... y'all have a good week.

Can’t believe that some people are taking this cheap troll seriously. Mocking experienced people when the company is using unethical and illegal means to get rid of them is a great corporate strategy. Get the millennials and the boomers to fight each other and to forget what the management is doing to everybody.

Invest in a clipboard. Walk around campus always asking for the last person you ran into, the higher up the food chain the better. The "managers" will know you are busting your bu-t.
Old army trick. When you run into the VP you were looking for, ask him for the other one across the way. And jog on over. Do this in between your coffee and "bio-breaks" and you will be golden.
Keep it up for 40 years and you too can retire happy.
For the pre-meeting meetings, always be ready with is that font correct, and is there something wrong with the projector, the logo color looks off. Don't worry about content, worry about form, it's easier.
When asked key questions relating to the bottom line, like should we drill here? The answer is always No, you will never be wrong, if you say Yes and it's a dry ho-e, your done. Keep up the good work. For those working further downstream, always say we should add another distillation/reflux column, never hurts.

OP, what you described is what you have been doing your whole career right? What we all want to know is how did you survive to retirement! Was it power walks, printing out docs and Yamming while attending lots of meetings? You are a hero!
