The 65% going to the hybrid model are "generally" expected to be in office 3 days a week. Has no one actually noticed the word generally in the announcement?? This isn't the first time what they're calling hybrid has existed at US Bank. It's just new to many people that will fall in the category. Some people will still have to go in 5 days, even mapped to hybrid. Some people may go in once a month. It's going to depend on the actual workgroup. Most people will have variable schedules depending on need.
Another complaint being repeated is that people with preexisting conditions aren't being considered. The government protects people that have genuine need for reasonable accommodation. It's not something to cry about on a company intranet page. It's something you bring to HR and management for actual approval.
In short, I think people are incriminating themselves, not actually proving they deserve to be remote.
