Not that it's any of my business, but it’s very unusual to me when some young talented people come to Intel instead of going to new, growing companies that are trying to keep people who have great potential.
If I were just a little younger and had the energy I used to have, I would try to get a job in such a company. I'm not sure if such companies need the experience of someone from Intel...

If you have the time and energy to write this post, you have the time and skill to find a better employer.
Seriously. Tech job doesn’t require you anything too demanding physically. With age body can get old but mind can actually get better. You just need to want it strongly enough. Laws of physics won’t hold you back. Trust me. Give it a try. What is there to lose?

I thought Intel == US Custom and Border Protection
Intel= glorified DMV
I am a older white guy would neveer go to a smaaller company. they work your bu-t oof, no place to hide. Plus smallr start ups are filled with NON US engineers they are very hungary and if you don't perform they show you the door. Older white people have a great hiding place at Intel.
On a hour by hour Intel pays the most for least work
