Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Actually I think the handling of back to the office has been done well.

I am no sycophant but believe in giving credit when credit is due. Well thought out plan, vaccines, training and based on the belief that leaders should lead from the front. No timetable for others, ceo committed we can make the call on the timing of next group.

They are going to force people to take the vaccine to come back, at least for senior leadership. This was not handled well and every bit of material they send out contradicts the word "flexible" with "required". I guarantee you if you don't go back, you will lose your job b/c of Frank's BS old-school mentality. Honestly, Fiserv always was a great company because of quality of life flexibility, since Frank has come along he has ruined it for the entire company.

BTW, forcing people to take a vaccine that are truly fearful of longterm side effects to get them into a building where their job can be done remote is completely immoral IMO. People need to learn the truth of what is going on here, I bet the media/news agencies would love to hear about it.

It's simultaneously sad and hilarious watching FiDino drop into irrelevance faster than its stock price, as Frank spams out Back2Business and Clover emails at breakneck speed. FiSpam really has its priorities in order.

I respectfully disagree that the back to office plan has been handled well. Messaging to mid level management has been poor, in fact messaging from up top has been too. Frank stated on the latest earnings call that no one would be going back until Labor Day the earliest. That clearly was incorrect.

Furthermore, I found the statistic they used to validate this new plan to be interesting in the corporate communication email. The one I am referring to is that 90% of associates responded positively to the survey question related to being supported by Fiserv through the pandemic. Why did they not reference the statistic related to the survey question asking how comfortable do you feel returning to the office?

These types of things make it appear that the executives had this plan all along and did things for show instead of truly caring about their employees.

WFH has so many company and environmental benefits. It would be d-mb of the CEO to overlook that. First, he can close down small remote locations (he's doing that) that will save money. The more people that WFH, means less carbon emissions from sitting in traffic. Advertising that the company is reducing carbon emissions. People that work from home have a tendency to give more of their time, but only if the leaders are inspiring.

Please STOP misleading people by saying there is no timeline. Those of us who are being ordered back to the office next week have to tell our teams they will be returning. By posting that there is no timeline you are making it worse! Just let the truth come out, we're returning now to extol to our subordinates how amazing working from the office is. Then we have to get them back in the office by July if we want to keep our jobs.

Meh I disagree. WFH is the future.. offices are dead and kinda pointless unless it's a workshop.

I see great potential here for another shill comment. First off use English right way, FB is a CEO not a ceo. Your sentence construction is poor. Try a comma from time to time. And WFH is indeed a plan many BIG American firms are using now.

You're literally the chief HR officer posing as a worker bee. Most other companies are allowing WFH as an option now, while Fiserv is becoming more and more irrelevant each day. Nobody wants to work for this company, which is why you have to resort to hiring contractors.
