Going back to the office post COVID, yes? No?

The title says it all. Good idea or bad idea?

You just can’t wait to go back into the office to get their daily protein intake.

True but in the case of Citi for every man that goes 15 are waiting to fill the spot. In the short term when the talent leaves the pain is felt but once the replacement is in and gets up to speed in a few months all is well.

True, other companies are embracing a hybrid mix of work environments, there are many more who are letting their people choose. Go back into the office, stay home, half and half, whatever do your thing. It’s THOSE companies who will likely retain their people the longest.

C in Citi stands for Control.
There is no reason that anyone should need to go back into the office unless it is their choice.

Cleanliness has nothing to do with an airborne / respiratory contagion which has a infectious radius of up to 40 feet. Enjoy being in ICU.

The Delta variant (B.1.617.2) has ki---d individuals who have received two doses of vaccine. The 1950's mentality of "being in the office" is used for two reasons:

(a) Control
(b) to justify the creation of mega-sites in my hometown of Dallas and also Tampa

Most of the roles are hybrid between working at home and the office. What do you mean you are never going back? Are you retiring or quitting?

Only if everything is back to normal. What is the point of going back if you still have to wear masks, can't eat lunch in the cafe with your friends, and have to leave the breakroom whenever there are more than two people in it?

If I had a vote, I’d select 100% work from home for me.
Less money on gas.
Less wear and tear on the car. Oil, tires, less mileage.
Less money on dry cleaning.
Less money for food.
Less time in traffic.
Better work life balance.
All combined its like a mini raise per month. Going back to the office would be more money out of pocket
