Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Can we go just a few days without layoffs/closings?

Constant layoffs news and closing announcements are getting rather exhausting. There's no break, no time to recuperate. Every week it's something new. With all of that, I'm surprised morale is not even worse than it is. It's really hard to keep it together and remain focused on work in such a stressful environment.

"no layoffs since like June of last year"

Maybe you haven't head, but UOP has had at least 3 rounds of layoffs since June of 2020.

ok, so 1 big layoff since June 2020 still doesn't constitute "constant".

again, not saying things are perfect, but still overdramatic.

@mua, June 2020? Try April of 2021. It was even posted on here.

People have been laying themselves off to better opportunities and that is really upsetting PrimaDairyus. When people willingly leave in droves it shows he is losing control.

There has also been small, a few at a time, for functions that have been outsourced. Not enough to make the news etc but there has been small actions.

This being a layoff site why is there surprise that there are layoff discussions?

What do you mean there have been no layoffs since June? There were layoffs last week as discussed in a thread below.
