I'm just wondering where Fiserv is pushing innovation and R&D. Anyone working on DAPPS? Are we doing anything cool at all? Mining? Staking?
Or are we all in on race cars, paper checks, and physical silver/gold coins?

There are less than 10 people at Fiserv who ever wrote any crypto related code.
You better hope Fiserv doesn't develop crypto technology. Otherwise you will be getting paid in Fiserv Coins.
Crypto currency capabilities ? Are you nuts ? Your dead end company can barely manage hosting for small town rural Credit Unions ...crypto currency ? Not a chance !!
No this has been brought up at a senior level and the decision was made that there isn't a good business case for Fiserv to get involved with Crypto.
Fiserv had a good department on cyber security --- all gone now, entirely empty. Nobody fired, just left for other pastures.
Fiserv is about as fintech as a farmer’s market is a biotech.
We announced working with a brank for Bitcoin not too long ago -- or maybe it was the bank that did -- and I'm sure we'll probably expand the relationship with that fintech. It's called NYDIG.

On almost every one of the ETG/FTS townhalls someone would ask about Crypto or Blockchain. Do they not realize that is the responsibility of the Business Units, not FTS?
The plan for crypto is like everything else.
We dont innovate, we integrate.
Wait till new tech becomes mainstream, buy a company doing it, force BU to integrate it by Q4. Complain when it goes wrong. Learn nothing. Wash rinse repeat.
Crypto is the future and Fiserv will no doubt fall behind due to internal politics, as has demonstrably happened with every other new technology.
