Correct, we are paid at our region level. When I said area, I was referring to across my region regardless of the accounts I am assigned to. Last I heard they are trying to do it in FY22 but not sure if that is beginning or sometime after. SED is being awful quiet in not addressing the questions and deflecting.
You just said what I said. Generalists can’t be pooled unless they are turned into specialists. And they’re paid on region not area. So when does this change take place?
Yes generalist SAs can be pooled. Our at risk component of our compensation is tied to our area not the accounts we cover. Essentially we are on the socialist plan. This makes it easy to pool us by specialty and ultimately we will become part of the Agile TSA debacle.
But generalists can’t be pooled. Will each SA get a specialty?
Right now EN and Data Center are pooled and it is awful. It is costing us deals. I don’t believe collaboration and security is being pooled but not 100% sure in that. Those 2 make sense not to. Those are the hot technologies right now. As for SAs, I am hearing we will start to get pooled as that is part of the plan.
To the commercial central guy - are SAs being pooled or just TSAs?
SEDS are allowing it to happen. They are more interested in serving their own agenda than representing the SAs. The Central SED is so out of touch it is concerning. Acts as if he is for the SAs but his actions prove otherwise.
I see no way possible this happens without mutiny within each sales team/region. There’s also the ripple effect on SA Managers.
