Problems with Aetna?

Has anyone experienced increased difficulty with the Aetna-managed ExxonMobil Health Insurance not paying claims? Their phone representatives are less than helpful. I had four PT sessions that Aetna listed as out-of-network but they paid the other 20+ as In Network. All PT was done at the same place.

Is this another cost saving measure?

I was supposed to go in for an appendectomy and I was told I had to do it myself. Curse you Aetna!!!!

I ended up buying a 1/5 of wh----y and used a butter kn--e to cut it out. It really wasn't that bad.

I think there might be a maximum number of PT sessions depending on the plan. You also might need to get more sessions prescribed by your PCP if applicable.

Medical billing in the US is a nightmare, and it’s not unique to Aetna nor does it have anything to do with Exxon. Get a grip.
