Unfortunately, a petition will do bupkes. I joined Local 1701 of the Communication Workers of America (IBM Union organizing effort) back when "Socks" Bouchard screwed us on our Pension and Retiree Medical. Unfortunately, most IBM employees didn't understand that this was their absolute right under Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act in the Federal Labor Code, and that retaliation by IBM for joining was strictly prohibited. However, very few others joined ... so the greedy ganefs in Management continued to gut the company, sell off every IBM asset that they could, and royally sc--w the hard-working employees ... and now IBM as we knew it is dead.

Get rid of the CFO first. Not only is the guy the root cause of a lot of cultural issues, he also has accountability for all things IT. CIO reports to him.

Yeah right. Like that will get approved!? GR did far worse with 24 consecutive quarters of declining revenues and she got bonuses. All that the petition will do is guarantee an RA for those who sign it.
