Unbelievable!!. Kyndryl couldn't get anyone better than failed IBM Cloud GM to lead its Cloud practice?. So much for betting its future growth on Cloud/hyperscalers

Maybe this whole IBM/Kindle thing is like cellular mitosis .. there will be two identical entities each half the size of the original IBM.
OK, so kyndryl has a cloud practice... and IBM proper is trying to be all things cloud...
So does that mean, IBM will essentially be trying to take customers from kyndryl?

IBM does not have very many technical managers. They prefer general managers who are pencil pushers and have better more 'manipulative' soft skills than those under them. They are generally clueless and work within a particular set of processes.
