Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Loss of knowledge/experience

This is such a short sighted company that has basically driven away employees that have the knowledge and experience to keep the ship running. Sooner or later there will be no one left to teach the ropes to new hires. How many do you have left on your team that you can honestly say you learned a thing or two from? I bet the answer is ZERO.

You're that incompetent new hire that trained him, aren't you?

Get over yourself!

truthfully if you are a rep you dont have time to train merchandisers! problem is that theres no one else to do it because now training is usually letting them spend 3 hours with another merchandiser and turning them loose! the thought is that if you keep throwing stuff against the wall eventually something will stick.....its all about quantity, not quality

MY new full time merchandiser was trained by a brand new incompetent employee. I protested with no resolve. My DM WANTED the new employee trained by an incompetent employee so these would be the skills this new employee possessed. It was completely obvious that my DM wanted the new hire to have a sub par skill set and a sub par way of servicing the store. He absolutely did NOT want ME training the new employee with a good standard. He wanted this new employee to have a low grade service standard. This is part of why we now suck ba--s as a company.

Yep, almost all the employees are new, inexperienced, and incompetent, just how Mondelez wants it!
