Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Nike Internal Security

Just got pinged to interview for a security analyst with a focus on inside threats. Analyze user data for internal threats…:

I’ve worked for DoD companies that made stuff that goes bo-m and we weren’t this suspicious of our own people.

Nice campus though

Can confirm. Nike is like big brother. I’m shocked at the d-mb stuff they look into and flag people for. That’s what most employees keep their Nike company phone separate and have to carry around two phones.

Nike’s insider threat program is completely legit and top notch/professional. There is so much employee-hopping over to competitors, for instance, designers can take material designs paid for by the company, IP stolen, code created and paid for on company dime. This is totally standard. They don’t care if you look at po-n on your work laptop and they’re not spying on your personal emails. This site can be so victimy, sheesh. If you got a bad vibe, then move on to the next job listing with your rockstar ninja CV

The only internal threats are those that speak truth to power. Once you're marked, HR & Security (basically same people) will scour your laptop to find the most minuscule infraction to justify firing you and avoid a pesky lawsuit.

I've witnessed this first hand and it IS a thing at Nike.

Enjoy your PSP though.
