With Whitehurst stepping down, where do IBM and Red Hat go from here?

In the long run, Whitehurst's absence will leave a weakened IBM and Red Hat facing
stronger cloud and Linux rivals.

Not like JW was doing an amazing job anyway. He had over a year and couldn't budge RH's revenues one bit. It's still puttin along just the same.

RH is going to get fully assimilated in the next year, the CEO of RH will get the boot at some point, a lot of RH employees will leave for better companies.

We have seen this scenario many times before at IBM when IBM acquires a company.
