What industries are people applying to that provide a competitive salary vs Oil and Gas?
I have heard people going to Amazon, Tesla, etc and claiming higher salaries but I don’t see those jobs posted online.
Can’t seem to find many jobs opportunities that are >$150k outside of O&G.
The cartels are hiring CE’s
Chemicals, pharmaceuticals, consulting.
Just got an offer from Verizon. 190k per year.
Consulting as well.
Chemicals doesn't pay as much as oil&gas.
Could start with the purely “chemical” companies… BASF, Dow, Lyondell, etc.

Are you only looking at base salary? The majority of the higher salaries you’re hearing mainly come from stocks and bonuses.
