Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Assessment Results Megathread

A thread for sharing your assessment results to help everyone understand general trends.
Would help if everyone could provide it in the format below…

Here’s mine:
Org: EMCC
Years: 7-8
Previous rank: Needs Improvement
New rank: Very Good
General ranking: Always been in the middle

Honestly surprised I moved back to middle, lost motivation after last years rank so I gave up, was lazy during wfh expecting to be PIPd but managed to deliver some impactful things I guess. I survive to see another year (if I don’t leave by then).

Years 10
Excellent to NSI in only one year, same time and stepped up to manage successfully all the changes.
It is true, we are all on a one year contract except maybe ~10% of employees.
I wonder … are the benefits (monetary and personal) enough for a one year contract ?

Where can i find my rank?

NSI last year ; Very Good this year. The difference : a new supervisor located in another country.
Our HR has created a monster : no modification in fact in the system despite all the effort to market it. Only change has been the removal of the 20 % rule … creating a lack of accountability.

After 30 years within the company moving from NSI to Very Good in one year does not make sense ….

Previous: Very good
Suspected new: needs improvement
General: middle

Person who delegated their work to the rest of the team, obviously did not understand the technology we support and was constantly working less than 40 hours = outstanding and now moved to management role.

Sinking ship people! Rats aren’t leaving, they’re being promoted. #buyerbeware

But does it matter? Doesn't feel like an accomplishment if nothing improves because of this.

I delivered a reduction in 14k employees and maintained the dividend; resulting in a net loss of 22 billion. Pretty upset I didn’t get distinction this year :(

Supervisor sees you as a threat = low rank

Supervisor doesn’t see you as a threat = high rank

@xjn+1bKuV8uN - OP here, yep last year when I got Needs Improvement was easily my best year in terms of deliverables and impact. And yet my worst rank year…Back to Netflix I guess.

Office Space experience! I've had the same. Work less, get higher rank. Makes no sense.
