Anyone have a good feel or reasonable calculations for what RA numbers will look like, and what units would be affected for each side? (I surely don't.)
Thought it might be good to get it all on one place.

I love to work and it does not matter what they do to me. Keep me, let me go, I will always find another job and again I will do my very best at that job too Not for the company or my boss but me and my stubborn pride. The only person I have to satisfy is me and my high standards of doing a great job. So sell me off like you have the last 4 times. I’m still here IBM and AT&T. You keep buying or taking over companies that I move too.
If only they would send IBM design to Kyndryl. 1,350 designers, from the looks of our products they aren’t designing anything. Why we have so many?

IBM will have heavy RAs after spin off, Kyndryl has done already but there are some left for sure.But be ready for real IBM RAs right after spin off
maybe that's why ibm are making everyone do skill to cr-p training, if you don't do it you will be piped - so no need to RA. might put a bet on this at the bookies
I know for a fact that Kyndryl is being "over stuffed" to use the HR vernacular. Even though this is a spin-off, I've seen IBM do this with multiple divestitures over the years. Get folks all hyped up thinking that they're getting a "fresh start" with a new company ... only to get kicked in the nuts with a layoff a few weeks or months after the deal is closed.
Post split, think IBM or kyndryl will have higher RA counts / percentages?
It is going to be ugly for sure...
At 1st q earnings IBM had allocated 3 billion for restructuring in 2021, PLUS they had a carry over of 250 million for European actions. IBM’s past expenses when they have taken RA’s generally come out to approx 10-15k head count per billion. It varies due to the base expense / experience of the folks being asked to leave. Europe and the NA teams tend to move closer to the 10k number while SA, Asia and India tend toward the 15k number.
