Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Do we know how many people we are losing to attrition each month?

From what I can see, the number keeps growing consistently. This is no surprise, considering how Nike enjoys mistreating its employees but it should be something that those on the top should pay more attention to. There are only so many competent people you can lose until things start to fall apart.

I left my eband role recently for fully remote position at big cap, SValley-based company and compensation that doubles what Nike paid.

I’ll be back filled no problem I’m sure, but in the long term can Nike compete in this sort of market? It’s now possible to live in the PNW (if that’s your thing), appreciate all it has to offer, make significantly more, and not have to deal with all that goes on inside the berm.

Well, Nike stock is up $30 over the last month, so I doubt anyone at the top is concerned. It actually seems like layoffs and attrition is a positive thing.
