OMG, LOL it's just like Oracle and Jedi project. HPC at Oracle was thrown into the trash heap because of failed contract performance. Those government contracts are he-l.
What sucked wasn't just HPC inherited from Sun was ki---d off, they jettisoned really great software IP (not solaris)... SGE, Lustre to name a few.
yes, they don't know what they are getting into... that's for sure!
