Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

DFW Townhall

Cathy: "the great thing about this, Brian's management team, is that we're open to have dialogue."

Everyone: "we work better and more efficiently from home and would like to continue to do so."

Cathy's dialogue: "that's nice, you're still going back into the office for arbitrary reasons we came up with that doesn't really improve moral or performance."

Also they are closing down the Plano gym? Mkt president mentioned that they will bring people from Richardson into Plano?

So while the world moves forward in flexibility...BOFA moves backwards to remove any benefit you may have had.

so segregating employees works for "we are better when we're connected". Those who chose not disclose and are vaccinated vs those who chose not to vaccinate will be lumped in one bubble. So much for "inclusion". Say what you want to say about those who didnt get vaccinated (i chose to) they chose not to do it, but the fact is there should be freedom of choice (irrespective of how you might feel about it)...one outbreak in the bubble is all it takes. With the Delta variants ramping up...no one is immune to the chance of getting it. The whole open floor concept will be a breading ground for any type of outbreak.

At the end Cathy said if we leaned anything from Covid-19 it's how to be Agile. Then she goes on to say that the placed 6000 employees.
It was a direct shot at those who think they will change minds and not come in...it was said to let you know you are replaceable.

To show how out of touch BM and management is from an article in yesterday’s Charlotte Observer Connecticut-based credit card company Synchrony Financial announced the ability to continue working from home. I'm looking forward to working in the leper colony when I get back into the office.

Waste of ear time. She was just repeating the same thing we all received in the email about working from home. Also she was trying to be careful of what she was telling us cause she was stuttering and stumbling over her words. So in a nutshell look forward to be segregated in bubbles for the ones who haven't been vaccinated vs the vaccinated ones. I don't see how they are going to do that if employees who are vaccinated won't update their status in the vaccination tool. That's a lot of moving around cubicles, desk/computer equipment, phone lines etc.
