Yeah they are filling up the whole place with Deloitte and Salesforce people who have no domain or depth! Cisco is doomed. Kind of sad as it used to have such a great culture of merit.

When I started reading your post about "bringing on new systems to replace old sucky systems" I immediately corrected that to say "bringing on new suckier systems to replace old systems that were tried and true", but then you went on to say how they have no idea of the complexities of the systems and the processes built around them.
The new ESP system is a perfect example of a new system that replaced something that worked. Where it took me minutes to find information, and not much more than minutes to update information that I had access to modify, now takes me hours to find assuming I can find it at all and I have to go through opening a case to have the info updated.
TRON is Transformational Operations. This is one of the splits from the ops org made by MM. They run the backend operation systems needed to run Cisco. They are spending a lot of money right now in bringing on new systems to replace old sucky systems. The SVP “GR” came from Deloitte and all the modernization work is being done by….you guessed it, Deloitte. These Deloitte guys have no idea of the complexities of these systems or business processes downstream and will rip and replace with SAP and Salesforce. While this multiyear project goes on, old systems are frozen and new offers and updates are stuck. Typical MM chaos. This lady is slowing things down in the name of upgrades but yet can’t even deliver a simple program like Success tracks after 3+ years of development.
