My friends at Northrop say it’s about the same.

The only one fooled was you. Not to say my post wasn't pathetic :)"
In the spirit of transparency, it's nice to see HR finally realizing that their attempts here are pathetic. Bravo. Now if you could actually do some work instead of gossiping and walking around all day...

At least under the old L-3 Communications, there was a great deal of autonomy among all the various divisions. Kubasik has tried to reign them all in and make them more Lockheed Martin like (think the Borg: resistance is futile, you will be assimilated!). But I don't know much about what is going on elsewhere in the organization. Some places may be doing very well while others are struggling. Anyway I know people don't want to identify themselves but it would be interesting to see what opinions come from which locations... and how many former Harris employees are venting on this board?
Thankfully, I am not a part of this "we" anymore.
Best day ever was telling my bug eyed supervisor that I was resigning.
I got paid fairly (hourly employees get overtime paid) but the chaos and outright lies that were being told to customers each and every day just wasn't an environment that I wanted to be a part of. I left and I've never been happier.
Grand Rapids is an absolute bloated mess.
Leave now while you can. I made the best decision when leaving L3. They will bleed you dry, not compensate you fairly for working 10-12 hours a day because there aren’t enough resources. Mgmt and HR don’t care. It is refreshing And less stressful that I now work for a company where management includes all employees in discussions and actually cares not only about the business, but also their employees.
I've worked for 4 different defense contractors... sometimes I have to look at my badge to see which one I am at... they are all the same.
Lockheed Martin's disorganization and ineptitude has L3Harris beat hands down. I'll put it this way: L3Harris is extremely organized AND professional when compared to LM. Think about THAT for a moment. Scary.
Because this is some next level sh-t in that field - I doubt many can compete.
