You could hear the desperation in the emails and the earning calls yesterday with a 14 percent bump over second quarter 2020, attributed solely to an improving economy while the competition was posting 37 - 45 percent growth over second quarter and it all boils known to three basic banking rules (1) leadership (2) leadership and (3) leadership and with leadership unfamiliar with the business lines they purportedly lead, the only growth obtainable is through an improving domestic economy

Of course more cuts are heading to US Bank. It's the only thing they know. Makes it look like the useless class of middle managers are doing something. Constant re-orgs! Blame the workers. Everything is easy and should be done quickly, blame blame blame when this doesn't happen.

A significant RIF is needed to the old guard of middle managers that have never added anything to any conversation. They have simply lasted longer than everyone else. It's long past their time go but that would force the leaders to do actual work. It's unlikely that's going to happen. Millions could be saved and nothing lost if the useless middle managers were shown the door.
