The real question is why would anyone bother staying longer than a year from now? Oracle is luxury “trailer trash” at best.

No, I've left Oracle. It was the worst place I have ever worked.
I was there about 10 years. I will never, never, never go back.
Horrible management. Scam artists and liars.
No raises or bonuses for the last half of my time there. Oracle is on the way down. The management will see to it that it will never rise again. They are all in it for themselves, the company hasn't got a chance.

When I RIF’d, I took my severance, vested my stock options overdue, put it in the stock market and now have more money enough to put my great great great grand kids through Harvard.

Took me 3 months to interview and find a great job outside of Oracle. Been gone just over 3 months now.

Best. Decision. Ever.

I hope to no longer be here in the fall, if all goes well. My time here has been so full of frustration, sadness, and anxiety that I can't imagine staying here much longer. For those in a similar position looking for something better, good luck! I hear that the job market is promising and while the grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side, you'll never know until you try.

I actually wouldn’t say it’s HR. It’s a legit question cause half the board seems current and half seem former. I am current. I’m looking for a new job and have tons of people reaching out to me on linked in and two calls with headhunters. I am part of a small GBU where nothing will change and things will never improve as long as the current regime is in place. Some have been directors or mgmt for decades. I actually now feel sorry for them. I know they now look in the mirror and ask, what exactly have I done the last 20 years. Me? I’m a hard worker, a hu----r, they’ll never expect it and I will continue to live a happy life away from just about all the people who just never deserved to have a job.

For anyone looking, just go to linked in and put your job in and location.

And as for hiring and promoting at Oracle, 10 will get you 20 the next 1-10 years will be all external hires or overseas.

The workers bees and products aren’t bad. The management is among the worst in the free world. Just flat out terrible people. Clones of Mark Hurd…SC…CM.

Personally, I hope to be gone long before this year is done.
