Ford 10R60 Explorer Trans to be used in Bronco. Wisdom here?

Anyone get the logic here using a problematic trans on a new platform?

From Bronco6G.com:

Doesn't inspire much confidence in this transmission.

"People who own 2020 Ford Explorers have reported a wide range of 2020 Explorer transmission problems, including hard shifting, jerking, and the need for total transmission replacement. It’s clear that the transmission has turned into one of the worst features found in the 2020 Ford Explorer."

There are many other websites that discuss problems with this transmission. You don't have to look very hard to find reports of problems.

I'm really looking for some evidence that Ford has resolved these problems and that the transmission won't be the "weak link" on the Bronco which may cause lingering problems. My number one concern with buying a Bronco has been reliability. I put these concerns to rest months ago thinking that the engine and transmission have been proven in the F-150. It turns out now that this is not the case and instead, the transmission has been very problematic in the Explorer.

The issue with 10R60 Trans is bad mfg quality at Livonia Trans Plant. LTP is clueless containing their own contamination that they allowed in the the parts they produce. That contamination affects Main Control that is the root cause for jerky shifts.
Interesting that 10R60 Trans had quality issues after they began to be assembled at LTP.
LTP blames design, suppliers, everyone except themselves. The incoming quality lady was a joke, no idea in how to handle their own incoming quality shortcomings. I retired last December after having rough dealings with incompetent LTP "mfg" engineers. Ford Uppe Mgmt needs to stop pampering Trans Plants as well as Vehicle Office Plants. They are the main culprits for recalls due to bad quality

Really - thought it was the same as the ten speed in the f-150? Had a 2018 f150 with 2.7 twin turbo and ten speed trans….. no issues at all with it with over 30 k miles.

If there are issues, it not the design - it the suppliers making them. And yes they have a right to build cr---y stuff for Ford after how we treat them.

Backstory on the 10R60 trans. Scotty calls them like he sees them. Inconvenient truth.
