Why is it the restrooms are never cleaned? I can't for the life of me understand why the managers don't seem to care. With the covid, you would think that would be a major concern, but not here. I understand they are sent everywhere else in the club, but seems like they would want the restrooms al least dosen't. I hope the rest of you have clean restrooms.

Many years ago Sams did not have machine scrubbers. The floors and walls were so much cleaner. It's the lack of caring and responsibility of todays workers! Where I work, maintenance plants themselves on a machine scrubber and nearly runs over anyone in his way!
Hey, we don't have time to clean it ourselves. I'm a personal shopper do you not realize how much time would be lost on that job if I cleaned a freaking toilet. Come on now, get a clue.
Maintenance got wage increased to $15 p/hr so it is not money that's keeping toilets wild. The problem is one maintenance person covering an entire facility. It gets worse, the night crew destroys the floors in doing the stocking as chunks fall off of pallets, etc. You can't just machine it up. The machines clog. That's an entire facility floor sweep, reroute with the scrubber, clean up of spills, clean up of public and private restrooms, empty all trash cans/replace liners, remove adhesives from the floors, replace empty supplies, records, reorders, deal with new messes created during the day ( members are not clean people ), plumbing overflows, mucus on stalls, pathogen exposure risks..etc. The robot cleaning scrubbers do very little work in the long run.
A maintenance associate should be posted to the restrooms Friday thru Sunday, holidays, days leading up to holidays, and event days. And no one, I repeat, no one should be able to pull them to work someplace else.
Million dollar clubs with vile, medieval inside outhouses. Disgusting. The Walton family and their children should be made to use these bathrooms.
You sit there and cry about dirty restrooms, but won't lift a finger to help keep them clean. Most maintenance personal make maybe $12.00 an hour where you are probably $15.00 or better.
Another "it's not my job" type of mentality. So if you don't like dirty restroom clean them yourself and stop the bi-----g.
Restrooms are always filthy and depending on which maintenance person cleans it...all you smell is filthy mop water. If you go through the trouble of cleaning a restroom how about using clean water and disinfectant!? And clean the stall walls while you're at it! I know it's a tough job, but for God sake, do it right and be sanitary!
Maintenance: Employees who are called upon to do everything but what they were hired to do.
Our restrooms get destroyed by the dr-g addicts and homeless (jobless) who use it to take a bath. Nevada. I don't blame maintenance. They get pulled to do everything. The one thing they shouldn't have to do is clean the disgusting refrigerator and microwave every day because of the slobs that work here who can't clean up after themselves. Don't be afraid to call out another associate for making a mess in the break room. Embarrassment works very well. They usually won't do it again.
Our restrooms are disgusting. I blame the members who are pigs. I swear to God the women p-e on the floor and then step in it, making the tile black with filth. Our maintenance people are pulled in every direction, which is not fair to them. I would never want to do their job. Our club is dirty most 99% of the time. The only time it gets a deep clean is when we are going to have a walk. Our mgt. team is worthless, leaving the running of the club in the inept hands of the team leads.
