I agree with @gwr - I tool PIL last year, which gave me 3 months pay (August, September & October). Then at the end of November, I received another payment for unused vacation (VAC and COV only - you have to take your Flexible Holidays). However, you don't get a salary document for this - you'll have to call payroll if you want to confirm that they credited you with the correct number of hours (days of vacation) and how much tax they deducted.

As @gwr wrote, you will have to keep on top of this. Your Timekeeper (Group Admin ?) is responsible for submitting the number of unused vacation days, and your direct Supervisor is responsible for signing off on the number and submitting it to Payroll. My experience suggests that once you're out of the door, they don't give a fcuk about you - so make sure you have their e-mail addresses and phone numbers, so that you can keep on at them.

I resigned in mid-June and mine hit the bank account a little over three weeks after resigning. I haven’t seen the last paystub yet, but estimating taxes against how much vacation I had left, the amount looks accurate. Pretty confident my manager was on top of making sure I got what was still owed to me by filling everything out quickly.

Two weeks ago?

Can we assume PIL?

You'll get vacation time paid when you're officially separated. If PIL, it'll be the last payment made after the 90 days. You'll also want to look for the packet for pulling out the pension, because that's a one time offer required by law. You'll not get another chance to own your future unless XOM screws up.

Dude or dudette-I retired after 30+ years. My PIL was for vacation, which I did not take because my sup requested I work multiple data rooms because he didn't have a clue about the assets he supervised. Trying to help make money for the company before I left. My point was the least he could do was fill at the 1 minute piece of paper. I apologize if this offended you.

@hnd+1bYpAo16 I’m sorry you have a sh---y life. People actually resign from this company without being PILd or PIPd. Get off your high horse and it’s because of na$ty people like you i’m happy to be out

Normally it’s the next payroll cycle. That’s when I got mine. Also documented the amount I had left before turning in my computer just as a backup, but it worked out smoothly

It took 45 days for me. Make sure your sup submits the paperwork for PI. The POS I worked for didn't submit mine. Called Payroll and found out. Range from friends has been 15 days to 45 mostly due to timely submission of required docs. Good luck!
