Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Prediction: Honeywell switching back to work-from-home protocol

They are all following the same hidden hand and several other WEF partner companies have already announced this move.

We would get out of the covid nightmare very fast if people wised up and got the shots. Gee, the shot will give me a sore arm and 1 degree temperature rise. I think I will choose being on a ventilator for 5 weeks instead...or making some other random person I breathe on sick.

CDC is poised today to recommend wearing of masks indoors once again. That would "require" everyone, not just those who have indicated they have been vaccinated, to wear masks all day in the office. That may help tip the scale on the plan to force office workers back.

I hope so! I don't want to see my f'ing boss's face back in my final year here. Nothing good happens with or without them here, so I would prefer without. Not just me but the whole group, sans their little spy Mini Me.

Honeywell will fight going back to WFH tooth and nail. Getting everyone back into the office is the second most important thing to them, behind massaging quarterly numbers and ahead of free overtime.

Prediction: Honeywell applies the Prudent Man rule to healthcare coverage.

Reasonable or Prudent man is a hypothetical person used as a legal standard especially to determine whether someone acted with negligence. This hypothetical person exercises average care, skill, and judgment in conduct that society requires of its members for the protection of their own and of others' interests

They use this to eliminate coverage for any preventable disease or accident unless you have taken prudent steps to avoid :

  1. no vaccine? No coverage for related respiratory treatments,
  2. Lung cancer? No coverage for smokers.

This will continue until yearly drivers education and sports injury avoidance class completion become common questions at every clinic.

Eventually doors will be placarded suggesting use of crush proof glove to prevent finger injuries.

Honeywell HTS will rush to market a safety device that prevents finger crushing in doors at a cost of only a few rupees. Honeywell PAC will lobby for US regulation and hospitals everywhere will pay Honeywell 10,000 a door to comply.

I have mandated myself to work from home for the rest of my time at HON, i.e. I am not going back to the office. Happy to volunteer for next RIF or PIP

That move would take humility and courage on part of leadership.
Not likely unless govt mandates.
