They seem to be scared 24/7 of losing their jobs. I see people constantly treated like cr-p who don't want to do anything about it just so they don't "rock the boat." This is not even a newer, COVID-19 related development. I've been here for a little over three years and it's been like that since I joined. I think that's no way to live, to be honest.

Seen a lot of older workers get disrespect from some of the younger high-flying golden ones here, especially when the older workers come to a meeting prepared and with information and ideas gleaned from years of experience compared to their younger bosses. A couple of weeks ago the golden one was totally unable to deal and had a full mini fit. The snapping and eye rolling was crazy. Not a good look on Teams.
Don’t feel so sorry for us older workers pal! You just worry bout yourself. Us older ones have made it through before, no company is going to bring down anyone who has the smarts to have lasted this long!!! Thanks for the sentiment, but we’ll get by just fine cooky.....
I was one of the plus 50 age let go in March best thing to ever happen big package 1 month year plus all the rrsp contributions.. Free from the constant layoffs!! Living the dream now
