My mgr has been too busy to talk for weeks. I get the sense that mgrs know this return is going to be a mess. They had a year to fix the outdated open office plan disaster.
Now they have no answers to basic questions.

Is the 90 day discretionary WFH exception just a delay of loss of job if you don't have an office to return to? What about non-discretionary WFH for those that have childcare coverage issues, or a medical reason/care for others? The forms clearly state re-evaluation every 90 days and it is not permanent. Wondering if These will be rescinded when offices fully reopen in September.
Is it just me, or is DA the Green Goblin in white-face?
Yes they will eventually release all people who were orphaned by site closure. This is policy and applied to people as high as the president of defense and space.
Immediately ask your manager for an exemption from the return to the office.
Then work with manager to move you to a title that is not impacted.
TITLEs matter to Hr!
You must get a formal title in peoplesoft that avoids the flags.
Everything from MIP eligibility to allowing being posted with a customer location is tied to it.
Posted this elsewhere, but should have posted here: Is Honeywell's plan to RIF WFH people who no longer have an office to go to? I will find out next week if this is the plan for me. I have been WFH for 18 years (no haters please - I'm in a customer facing role). They closed my assigned office last summer. The closest office is now over 4 hours away. Anyone else have experience with this or first-hand knowledge of this? I also hear "hub strategy" is in play, which tells me there will probably be more office closures and more RIFs for those who won't relocate.
Get back in the office or else! Or else what???? That's what I told my so called manager. She threatened with job action so we went to legal. I got a nice package after 37 years in Phx. HR told her not to be on the call when they made the offer. I'm happy at being retired at 59 yo,
All the best. I hope I spelled everything correctly. That's all she cared about when texting....
They're all sh-----g over getting people into the office because they think it will help them make Q2. Not going to happen. D-mb sh--s.
For those who have not been made aware, there is a waiver to work from home for 90 additional days. It needs to be approved by HR and your manager.
Huh? My manager isn’t doing anything because they are a people manager. They collect a paycheck to PIP people and to deflect blame when a corporate initiative backfires on our customers.
He closed the Redmond site and asked my group to move to some awful place in Arizona. Just the push I needed to grow. Cya Mr D. What a dump.
Well, Darius rescinded our pay raise last year so he could still collect his multi million $$$ bonus 😉 what a sc-m bag...
Agreed. I would no decisions made by Darius have been good for anyone but executives.
He buys very expensive wine on employee funded private jet trips?
D won't do anything to benefit employees.
Name 1 decision that leadership (Darius) has made lately that has been good for the company and benefited employees
