I wouldn’t put my family in a Ford:

Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2021 Ford F-150 models due to steering gears that could be damaged internally.

The defect: in affected vehicles, the steering gear could have cracked ball nut retainers.

The hazards: broken steering gear ball nut retainers can allow the ba--s in the ball nut assembly to displace and wedge, which can get worse as the steering wheel is used. Damaged steering gears could result in difficulty steering or the inability to rotate the steering wheel while driving.

Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition.

Kind of missed the serious failure in the announcement.

Big trouble for the flagship if you can't steer it.

Please don't put your family in a Ford vehicle! You have lots of choices. Do Ford a favor and buy another vehicle if you really can afford it.
