The Transit Connect issue sounds identical to a past recall issue on Fusions with the 6F35 automatic. Perhaps engineering should have asked what other vehicles used that cable and bushing design and recalled them all under the same campaign.

It’s about making reliable trucks and SUV’s. We have lost so much in capabilities and reputation has been seriously impacted. When our own employees won’t drive a vehicle that we make, it suggests a serious (terminal) situation.

With all the press falling all over our new and shined EV strategy, you think someone might as why Ford thinks they can build reliable EV’s that features new technology when we still can’t get ICE vehicles right after almost 100 years.

Shameful.

Despite this abysmal level of quality in Ford products, the Detroit Free Press fawns over Farley. You’d think he was a new guy, not a guy who’s been here over ten years watching the business deteriorate.
