June is Qtr end - all hands on deck. Maybe after June depending on how numbers come out. I work at Aero and we are struggling a bit. Weak numbers there will be no hesitation to cut. People leaving on their own will continue, as we are treated like cr@p, and if they get really desperate maybe a few contractors will be brought in - no training of course.

Of course there will be. This is Honeywell, how can this even be a question?

Cuts will be results of consolidation and moving to low cost regions which is actively going on. Hon actively working to expand India, Mexico and shoe ho-n people into "hubs". I can see a future at Aero with 3 hubs, East coast, central US and West coast. As thin as we are now, a pure layoff would take an event, like government contracts cancellation.

Cuts in June????
Why?????
Per all the latest townhall data, we are doing so well even prior full recovery of the economy.
So, no!!!

Oh wait. It's honeyhell....
Then 'yeah'. The figures presented are fake and Q2 is a disaster. Need to polish the books for Wall Street.

Aero is working to shift demographic. Older workers being squeezed raises by shifting the top end of pay ranges. Pressure to reduce hourly labor rate is intense. No way to move this metric except geographically or demographically.
Other companies in my market are aggressively recruiting. (Florida). Less commute equal to better pay. Best of all is they have a new team that is not yet so wounded by leadership.

There have been threats, but they can't save any money by cutting before the end of the quarter. All hands on deck to get parts out.

I'd like to see if there's any truth to the rumors I've been hearing.
