Why so negative? The hero that ran the amazingly successfully Tech Rev program is now in charge of SEC!! Yes, the one who gave you your amazing HR and Finance systems you enjoy every day will once again save the Nike world by strategic technology brilliance! Why not rebrand 100x millions set backs as baseline/finish what we started investments and dish self introduced methodologies and vendors? Familiar consultancy relations that came up with previous 'must go' advice might reenter the stage to reintroduce the outdated skills of the past wrapped in the latest google-able hype terminology. It's going to be great! You will all be in good hands knowing that many that delivered as a team are long gone and your future fates are a worthy sacrifice to enable the next 3X Technology strategy as handler of the next 'CI/D/T/O' ...
I got out of tech, for less pay but a better company and better piece of mind. The planning at this place is laughable. "Important" projects are not given any time and resources yet results are expected. Directors don't know what they're doing. Sc--w the cloud.
Oh, even Sr Dirs hired in Tech Ops over the past 1-2 years are contributing to the sh**storm now. They were assimilated quickly. -And the Dirs aren't doing much better. August is too far away. Good people are leaving, or actively hunting to leave.
No, they are still around messing things up as always!! I have heard that reorg is coming in July/August! LOL….they do more reorg than actually delivering value! Huh!!
