Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Hard times in the past?

The situation is not great. People are leaving. I've been here very short time, but I can already see that I will soon have to look for a new job. My question is for those who know this company much better: has there ever been such a turbulent situation in a company as it is today?

Get out now! So glad I did! It’s a complete mess full of political BS! Worst company out there!

This is pretty bleak. At least when Perez stepped into the CEO's chair Nike could coast on Tiger in his prime and Jordan in his final years. They've basically given up on figuring out how to market athletes, so it's basically Sneakerheads and Boomers at this point. They did some innovative stuff with technology in the late 20-teens, but I don't see that continuing with this leadership.

Well certainly there have been tougher times, he-l PHK wrote a damn book on it, constant financial stress, thank you Carol Fields where ever you are, thank you Tiger, yeah, probably should not have lied to you so much, thankyou Nissho, those were tough times, Reebok had them on the ropes, Perez, I mean "Brigadoon" only started as the campus was built.

Is it bad, sure, but demand for the product looks stable, China is a cr-p shoot, but not because of the Brand, the Scoreboard today ended at 134 a share and 212 market cap, so some bright folks have not seen it yet, and they get paid a lot of money to know stuff in advance.

Fire the consultants, sell good product, SJWs are not employees, they are deflectors.

PHK is still alive.
